CATT Kosovo 2009, the inaugural Centre for Alternative Theatre Training International Workshop, took place in Prishtina, Kosovo in August 2009. The host for CATT was the National Theatre of Kosovo, whose Artistic Director, Jeton Neziraj, is a long-time collaborator with CATT Founder Michael Devine.
The instructors for CATT Kosovo 2009 were Michael Devine (Canada), Artemis Preeshl (USA) and Hartley Jafine (Canada). Students from Canada and Kosovo participated in the intensive week-long workshop, which featured three classes per day over a five day period. A cultural excursion was also organised to the southern city of Prizren.
